WalktheChat’s core mission is to help businesses sell to China via WeChat and other social networks. We built our own cross-border WeChat E-commerce platform and CRM to achieve this result
Job description:
WalktheChat is looking for a Back-end Engineer to join our team.
We developed a simple analytics tool enabling to monitor Taobao sales of various brands (https://daigou.walkthechat.com/). The tool has been adopted by several companies already who are using it on a daily basis. We would now like to extend the features of this monitoring tool in order to cover more platforms (JD, Little Red Book, Weibo, WeChat, etc.), access historical data, create premium features, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Extending WalktheChat’s Monitoring tool to new platforms
- Build scrapping API’s to collect data from platforms
- Create a simple front-end interface to visualize data
- Design new features such as historical data and premium plans
Skills:
- Outstanding skills in Python/Go or other back-end programming languages
- Experience with web-scrapping
- Experience using and developing API’s
- Basic front-end development skills (can manage RoR or Django templates, React, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
